Ryan Hannam
Dr Ryan Hannam is a postdoc in applied mathematics at the London Institute. He studied physics at the University of Dundee, before being awarded his PhD in Applied Mathematics from King's College London. During his PhD, he studied the emergence of cell type attractors in gene regulatory networks and methods to transition between said attractors. Specifically, he is interested in understanding the program behind multicellular life to shed light on cell reprogramming experiments and developmental cell fate decisions. After his PhD, he completed a postdoc, also at King's College London, on Bayesian inference for medical diagnosis.
