Pinar Emirdağ

Dr Pinar Emirdağ is a governor at the London Institute and an entrepreneur and business leader. She studied physics at Bilkent University in Ankara, and earned masters degrees in physics and electrical engineering at Brown University, where she also did a PhD in physics. Her special area of research was the development of new numerical techniques in theoretical particle physics. Since then, Dr Ermidag has worked at a range of start-ups, banks and exchanges, including London Stock Exchange, ICAP, Lava Trading, and JP Morgan, where she served as Global Head of Digital Client Services. She was named as a Rising Star by Financial News and Technology Innovator of the Year by Waters Technology.
