Finite temperature Fredholm determinants for dynamical correlation functions
Submitted (2026)
An effective form factor method describes how correlations in strongly interacting one-dimensional quantum gases evolve over long times and distances at finite temperature. Resolving a transition between two effective phase shifts reveals a link to random matrix statistics that fixes the overall amplitude. Applied to a gas of hard rods, the method reproduces the large-scale predictions of generalized hydrodynamics.
