Ilya Shkredov
Prof. Shkredov is an Arnold Fellow at LIMS and a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He works on number theory and сombinatorics.
Prof. Ilya Shkredov is an Arnold Fellow at the London Institute. He obtained his Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences at Moscow State University, then did postdocs at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton and the Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute, Berkeley. He was a full professor at Moscow State University and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and Chief Scientific Researcher at the Steklov Mathematical Institute. He has held visiting professorships at Microsoft Research, the University of Sydney Mathematical Research Institute and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics. In 2016 he was made a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
His research is on number theory and combinatorics, including classical additive problems and finding applications of noncommutative methods.
