Elli Heyes
Miss Heyes is a Visitor at LIMS and a PhD student at the University of London. Her research is on algebraic geometry and machine learning.
Elli Heyes is a visiting researcher at the London Institute and a PhD student at City, University of London. She studied mathematics and physics at the University of Bath before doing a masters in theoretical physics at King’s College London, where her thesis applied machine learning techniques in algebraic geometry. Her PhD is supervised by Prof. Yang-Hui He. Outside research, she does yoga, climbs, and plays the flute.
Her research uses machine learning to uncover interrelations between mathematical objects in algebraic geometry related to string theory.
