Dr Alisa Sedunova is a visiting researcher at the London Institute and a Simons Scholar at Centre de Recherches Mathématiques, Montréal. She studied at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and did her PhD at Université Paris-Sud, Orsay. She then did a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute, before joining Saint Petersburg State University in Russia. Outside research, she likes to travel and read classic literature.
She researches integral points on algebraic curves, distributions of primes in arithmetic progressions, and polynomials in prime variables.
